Try-A-Tri was begun by Henry Forrest, an Original 1978 Ironman, and its main focus is to support triathletes and the sport of triathlon. Non-race-specific t-shirts sporting such sayings as “You’ll Never Know Until You Tri”, “Accept the Challenge”, “Tri-umph” and “If Triathlons Were Easy, They’d Call It Football” have captured the attention of triathletes. These shirts are of superior quality and range from cotton to dry-weave, and include ladies cut and youth sizes, along with standard- sized t-shirts. In addition, a line of products labeled Tri-Care has been developed and includes Shampoo, Conditioner, Fabric Wash, Joint & Muscle Cream, Muscle Warm-up, Chondroitin & Glucosamine Gel Caps, Lip Conditioner, and Tri-Glide. These products have been tested by athletes in training and proven to be functional as well as effective. Formulated with the needs of the athlete in mind, the Tri-Care products focus on resolving issues such as joint stiffness, muscle pain, sun screen protection, prevention of dry/damaged hair, and removal of chlorine and perspiration salts. Tri-Care products are sold exclusively by Try-A-Tri. Note from Owner/Henry Forrest: I had the honor to be one of the 15 men who ran the first Ironman Triathlon in 1978. I feel privileged to have been at the right place and at the right time to take advantage of that opportunity. It is laughable how little training some of us had going into that event, and little did we know that it would be the birth of a new craze – and possibly the beginning of extreme sports! Some of those 15 men are good friends of mine, and I treasure those friendships.
